At Cepsa we have a wide range of specific solutions for roadways. All of them have been created to address the great increase in traffic, the extension of the motorway network and the continuous evolution in the quality of roadway pavements.

Emulsions

Thermoadherent Tack Coats

Improved tack emulsions that guarantee the consistent performance of the asphalt mix package throughout the service life of the pavement.

Slurry surfacing

Mixes manufactured at room temperature with a bituminous emulsion, aggregates, water and, where appropriate, mineral filler powder and additives, the consistency of which is suitable for use on site and can be applied in one or more coats.

Half-warm asphalt mixes

Mixes generally manufactured at temperatures below 100ºC in a central asphalt mix plant using a bituminous emulsion as a binder.

Surface dressing

They consist of the execution of one or more applications of a specific bituminous emulsion on a surface, complemented by one or more extensions of an aggregate of uniform particle size.

Tack Coats

The application of a bituminous emulsion on a layer treated with bituminous binders prior to the placement on it of any type of bituminous coating that is not simply a surface treatment.

Cold bituminous mixes

Bituminous mixes that are manufactured and applied at room temperature, without the need to heat the aggregates or the bituminous binder, using asphalt emulsions.

Recycled asphalt mixes with emulsion

They consist of cold milling the asphalt layers from an end-of-life pavement and re-agglomerating them using bituminous emulsions.

Other coats

At CEPSA we have designed emulsions that are specially indicated for the following ancillary coatings: curing, priming, protection and geotextile impregnation.
