Bitumens modified with polymers

Elaster BM-3a (PMB 35/80-55) bitumen is a polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It has a minimum softening point of 55 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. It is suitable for improving the stability and resistance to plastic deformations of asphalt mixtures. It is suitable for most types of asphalt mixes, including open graded mixes like PA and BBTM while improving cohesion and deformation resistance and rutting.

Elaster BM-2 (PMB 25/55-65) bitumen is a polymer modified bitumed obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers. It complies with EN 14023 specification standard with a minimum softening point of 65 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. It is suitable for improving the stability and resistance to plastic deformations of asphalt mixtures. It is specially recommended for high traffic loads and hot areas.

Elaster BM-3b (PMB 45/80-60) bitumen is a polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It has a minimum softening point of 60 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. This bitumen is suitable for most types of asphalt mixes, including open graded mixes like PA and BBTM, and also for SMA. It improves cohesion and deformation resistance and rutting in every case.

Elaster BM-3c (PMB 45/80-65) bitumen is a polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers which complies with EN 14023 specification. It has a minimum softening point of 65 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. It is recommended for all kind of asphalt mixes, specially for open graded mixes as BBTM and SMA used for heavy duty roads.

Elaster BM-4 (PMB 75/130-60) bitumen is a soft consistency polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It has a minimum softening point of 60 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. This bitumen presents high toughness and elasticity. Suitable for especial mixes and road treatments and for modified emulsion fabrication.

Elaster BM-3c BT (PMB 45/80-65) bitumen is a low-temperature polymer modified binder obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers which complies with EN 14023 specification and formulated to make warm asphalt mixes. It enables increasing time/distance from the asphalt plant to the works site. It has a minimum softening point of 65 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. It is recommended for all kind of asphalt mixes, specially for open graded mixes as BBTM and SMA used for heavy duty roads.

Elaster Newplast BM-1 (PMB 10/40-70) bitumen is a low penetration polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It provides high stiffness and fatigue resistance to asphalt mixes. It has a minimum softening point of 70 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. It is recommended specially for high modulus asphalt mixes with exceptional fatigue requierements and outstanding rutting performance.

Elaster RAF BT (PMB 45/80-75) bitumen is a high performance polymer modified bitumed obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It is suitable for high performance asphalt mixes as anti-crack systems, high void content Porous Asphalt, high shear and rutting-proof mixes, SMA (no fibers needed) and AUTL mixes. Its minimum softening point is 75 ºC, its cohesion is extremely high and it is storage stable.This bitumen is formulated for the fabrication of Warm Asphalt mixes. It also enables increasing time/distance from the asphalt plant to the works site.

Elaster RAF AV (PMB 45/80-75) bitumen is a high performance polymer modified bitumed obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complieas with EN 14023 specification. It is suitable for the fabrication of high performance asphalt mixes as anti-crack systems, Porous Asphalt with high void content, high resistance to shear stress and rutting-proof mixes, SMA (no fibers need) and AUTL mixes. It has a minimum softening point of 75 ºC, extremely high cohesion and it is storage stable.
